As we welcome the fresh beginnings of spring, let’s explore how we can make choices that are kinder to ourselves and our planet through organic farming.

The #ChooseOrganic Campaign

We are proud to join the South African Organic Sector Organisation (SAOSO) and Participatory Guarantee System (PGS SA) in their #ChooseOrganic campaign. This initiative advocates for a healthier and more sustainable future this September.

Supporting Sustainable Agriculture in South Africa

When making food choices and other household purchases, look for PGS-certified organic produce and products. By doing so, you’re supporting farmers and suppliers who are embracing sustainable agriculture practices.

Organic Farms in Gauteng

In Gauteng alone, we have a network of over 20 organic-certified small-scale farms. These farms are part of the growing organic farming movement in South Africa.

Organic Certification in South Africa

While South Africa doesn’t yet have organic regulations, PGS certification is one way we ensure organic quality in the produce we sell. Another way is through farm visits during organic certification audits, which occur annually.

Join Us for Farm Visits

We encourage our customers to join these farm visits. It’s a great opportunity to see organic farming in action and understand the processes behind the products you consume.

The African Farmers Association of South Africa

Organisations like the African Farmers Association of South Africa play a crucial role in supporting and promoting sustainable farming practices across the country.
