The good stuff

Rich in vitamin C, manganese and antioxidants, the word dill is derived from “dilla” which means to soothe and explains why this herb has been used for centuries to soothe colicky babies. It’s also said to ease indigestion and improve bad breath.

How to eat?

With a grassy and slightly citrus taste, dill fronds are often used when cooking fish and added to potatoes and yoghurt dips. The herb and the seeds can be stored fresh for several days or dried and then frozen to retain flavour.
