Thyme is full of vitamin C and good to take if you feel a cold or a sore throat coming on. When distilled to an essential oil, it can also be used as a natural disinfectant and pesticide.
How to eat?
Lemon thyme gives a fresh and tangy boost to vegetables, chicken or fish. Simply remove the leaves and sprinkle before roasting. Also steep in hot water to make a tea to soothe a sore throat.
