Water Kefir – Hibiscus & Ginger
The good stuff
Water kefir is a delicious fermented beverage using kefir grains (actually a combination of good bacteria and yeast, so not grains at all). It is a probiotic and contributes to gut health, which is important for digestion, immune function and even mood regulation.
Water kefir has no caffeine. It is made with filtered water and organic sugar, but most of the sugar is consumed in the fermentation process, leaving very little in the final beverage. The taste is mild with a hint of sweetness and sourness, and it is fizzy from the fermentation process.
Hibiscus used are wild-growing.
