Fragrant and abundant, take advantage of this wonderful herb.

Mint Basics

  • Mint grows easily in South Africa. In fact, it can grow rampant and take over a garden if not restrained.
  • Mint leaves add a bright, fresh flavour to both sweet and savoury dishes.
  • It goes particularly well with red meats like lamb and high-fat cuts of steak as the freshness cuts through the richness of the meat.
