The good stuff
While rich in starch and containing about 4.5g of sugar per 100g, corn is still a low-fat and low GI food. It’s full of antioxidants that could contribute to eye health, and potassium which is good for blood pressure control.
How to eat?
There are few things nicer than corn on the braai or cooked over a healthy flame. Alternatively, you can shave into salads or use in corn soup.
