Detailed Description of Goods and/or Services

Abundance Wholesome Foods is an online store in the organic and wellness product industry.

Agreement of Sale

An agreement of sale between Abundance Wholesome Foods and a customer is only valid once payment has been made and the company receives proof of payment. Up until this point, all goods remain the property of Abundance Wholesome Foods.

Minimum order policy

A minimum order of R150 is required to warrant a delivery.

Delivery Policy

Subject to availability and receipt of payment, orders will be processed within one working day, to be delivered on the Friday of that week. Should a Friday be a public holiday, deliveries will be made on the day before the public holiday.

All orders are dispatched via our delivery service. A delayed delivery is not grounds for return or refund, and we will always communicate by text message or a phone call to the number you have provided about any delays. Delays are usually a result of changes in harvesting due to wet weather, frost in winter, and other situations out of our control.

You accept that for us to prove delivery of an order, we do not have to prove that you received the goods, but rather we will provide you with the name of the person who took delivery at the address you provided.

Delivery Policy at our Collection Points

You may choose to have your delivery dropped at our Collection Point for you to collect, and there will be no delivery charge. Orders for collection have a minimum amount of R150, and there is no delivery fee. Orders for collection must be collected on the same day of delivery, which is a Friday or otherwise stated before 17h00. Please note our collection points do not have refrigerators.

Return and Refunds Policy

The provision of goods and services by Abundance Wholesome Foods is subject to seasonality and availability. In cases of unavailability, Abundance Wholesome Foods will contact you with options

An order can be canceled if payment has not been made yet for the order by the customer. Once payment has been made by the customer for an order, the order can only be canceled before the order has been dispatched by Abundance Wholesome Foods.

If a product is not of good quality when you receive it, you must inform Abundance Wholesome Foods within one working day of receiving it, by sending a picture of the unsatisfactory product to info@abundancewholesomefoods.co.za. We will then plan for a replacement or a credit with your next order.

All products are sold with a freshness satisfaction guarantee, see how to keep your vegetables fresher for longer here. If you are not completely happy with a product that you received with your order, we will pass your feedback on to the farmer/ supplier of the product. The supplier’s remedy is then up to their discretion and Abundance Wholesome Foods itself will not be held responsible for issuing a refund.

If you receive the wrong product you must contact Abundance Wholesome Foods within one working day. We will check our system to see whether a mistake has occurred. If there was a missed pick, we will arrange to swap the ‘wrong’ product for the one ordered on our account.

Our fast and secure online payment system is through PayFast, which accepts Credit, Cheque, and Instant EFT from most of South African banks. For each refund, irrespective of the amount, PayFast charges a fee of R2.00 excluding VAT and the customer will be liable for this fee unless Abundance Wholesome Foods is at fault.

Customer Privacy Policy

Abundance Wholesome Foods shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of customers. For this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). Abundance Wholesome Foods respects your privacy. This means that any personal information collected on this site will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, reused, rented, disclosed, or loaned. Any information you provide will be held with the utmost care and will only be used to process your order and to provide you with the best possible service. Payment Options Accepted

Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, InstantEFT, and South African bank cards or by bank transfer or cash deposit into the Abundance Wholesome Foods bank account, the details of which will be provided during the checkout process.

Credit Card Acquiring and Security

Credit card transactions will be acquired for Abundance Wholesome Foods via PayFast who use the strictest forms of encryption.

Customer Details Separate from Card Details

Customer details will be stored by Abundance Wholesome Foods separately from card details which are entered by the customer on the PayFast secure payment terminal. For more details on PayFast services visit their website.

Merchant outlet country and transaction currency

The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. The transaction currency is the South African Rand (ZAR).

Responsibility

Abundance Wholesome Foods takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including the sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution, and delivery of goods.

Since our produce is sourced weekly, images of products on our website are a generic representation of the product and should not be used as a true reflection of how the final product will look. It is our mission that all information on this website is as accurate and up-to-date as possible and that all products promoted cause no harm to our customers or the environment. However, due to the possibility of human and technical error, Abundance Wholesome Foods accepts no responsibility for the accuracy or completeness of information provided on the website. Neither do we accept responsibility for any adverse reactions that any of our products may cause. While we have taken every reasonable measure to ensure that the products promoted on this website are of the highest quality and safety, the recommendations on this site are not the advice of a medical practitioner. This site may be used by customers to browse the content and products and to make legitimate purchases. Variation

Abundance Wholesome Foods may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
