The good stuff
Once used for snakebites and protection against bad spirits, sage is better known today for boosting memory through inhalation and for its anti-inflammatory properties. This peppery herb can also be used to protect against plaque and cavities by creating a mouth rinse.

How to eat?
Sage goes very well with meat dishes, especially as a sage and butter sauce. Also, try frying the leaves until crisp and then sprinkle over salads or roast potatoes.
